We do everything we can here at Tudor House to make sure all your needs are met. We organise a calendar of social events and in addition arrange optician visits twice a year, chiropodist visits every 6 weeks, weekly hairdresser visits, pamper sessions every 8 weeks, fortnightly exercise sessions and a monthly Mother Theresa Group for knitting, singing and other activities.

At Tudor House it is all about you, your happiness and well-being. We have an on-call doctor, who visits each month, supported by weekly visits from a matron.

We actively promote regular contact with friends and relatives, operating an open house policy, and distribute a monthly newsletter to keep everyone up-to-date. We want your opinions and those of your friends and family to continually improve the service we offer. As such we organise monthly residents meetings and ad hoc relative sessions to get feedback, as well as a yearly satisfaction survey we send out to families and professionals visiting Tudor House.

We have regular unannounced inspections by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as well as by Central Bedfordshire’s Compliance Officers. We take our standards seriously and as such employ only fully-trained staff, whose key motto is: “residents come first”.
