Only the most carefully selected and qualified staff work at Brookfield, where the residents even take part in the selection process to ensure the right people are chosen to care for you. Inspections are carried out annually by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and we hold regular staff meetings to ensure all standards are being met.
The focus at Brookfield is very much on the individual and given the intimate setting and high staff to resident ratio, personalised care is top of the agenda. A total of 12 fully-trained staff are on hand for your safety, happiness and well-being. In addition, we have invaluable support from the local doctor and district nurses.
A hairdresser comes into the home every fortnight and we also organise a chiropodist to visit every 6 weeks.
We aim to provide a ‘home away from home’ with all the creature comforts you would expect. In addition, we organise daily activities and plenty of social events, as well as celebrating birthdays and special occasions.
For those wanting some peace and quiet, we hold library cards for residents so that they can enjoy a good read.
Specialising in the care of people living with dementia and people over 65, who are unable to continue living at home, Brookfield has built up an excellent reputation with residents coming mainly via referral and recommendation.

All of our care homes are highly secure, with key coded entry systems. Our staff are fully trained and have regular meetings to ensure that our high standards are maintained.
The properties are all pet friendly and registered with the Cinnamon trust, allowing for residents to bring their pets with them into our properties (All pets are assessed before admission).
Our priority is to make individuals feel as welcome as possible. We keenly promote friends and family visiting at a time that suits each individual resident and we actively encourage independence within our homes. Our open house policy means that visitors can come whenever a resident wishes.
