I would simply wish to emphasise the impeccable standards of care shown to all residents.

The Paddocks is a home with a hug.

My parents have been at Brookfield for almost two years. This was the first home out of sixteen visited, that would allow mum and dad to sleep together in a double bed. My husband and I immediately felt a sense of warmth and homeliness. Of course when your in you 96th and 93rd year to live somewhere completely different from what you are accustomed to takes a great deal of patience on both sides. Dads hobby is mending clocks which he continues to do when the mood takes him. Mum, 93, has dementia and has different needs which are attended to. Their room is adorned with their own personal family photos and they have their own TV and phone. The staff are extremely thoughtful and caring. Angie the manager does not sit in her office all day but is hands on and knows her residents inside out. I feel assured that mum and dad are well cared for and can relax in the knowledge. I have no hesitation in recommending Brookfield.

Went to visit on an event they had the quality of care was indescribably, they put there residents first the food and drink they provided was really nice and had a variety for all the home is friendly and really tidy would defiantly recommend Brookfield 100% to anyone.

First class, very clean and tidy. Meals are good, entertainment is good. My bedroom is excellent. The staff are brilliant, all nice.

I like it, it's good enough for me! I like it when my visitors come and I always enjoy sitting in my chair in my room. I like to read my magazines to myself. I can't think of anything to change.

Very happy to be here.

The Paddocks is a small very personal care home where the staff always make you feel that you have made the right decision in leaving Dad in their care. The one to one care they give to Dad especially when he is having a bad day shows what a fantastic place the Paddocks is. Dad always looks clean tidy and eats very well with a full and varied diet. His bedroom together with the other communal rooms are well maintained. All the staff are very friendly and make you feel that this is as much as Dad's home as it is a care home. Since being in the Paddocks the whole family feel very relaxed and happy that Dad is in the best place.

The staff are all 100% in there work i.e. caring for residents, making sure everbody is comfortable, clean, very personal with residents. Warm approach to residents family and friends and the fact I myself do not have to worry about my mother, knowing the staff sort everything out.

Staff are very helpful and kind. The view that surrounds the care home is lovely. I like the fact that I am encouraged to stay in contact with my friends and can go out. The food is lovely and the fact we get to have a say about what our menus are, is great. I like the fact I am encouraged to be as independent as possible as well as having the help I need.

The care of my 95 year old mother who was terminally ill was second to none. The home catered for her needs in every way, bending over backwards in many cases when she wasn't eating, they would try and find something that she would fancy. Myself and other members of the family could come and visit as often as we pleased. They made her final months as comfortable as could possibly be.

My mother has now been resident in this care home since 2005, following a stroke, and during that time she has been cared for extremely well and she is very happy there. There have been quite a lot of changes to manager and staff in that time. But I feel they have been changes for the better and I cannot fault the care my mother receives,
